Fail to compile kernel 2.4 in VMWare Player

If you compile your own version of kernel, a error message are returned

No module BusLogic found for kernel 2.4.12
mkinitrd failed

Solution:

1. Open a new terminal window and open the /etc/modprobe.conf file.
2. Comment out the line with BusLogic and save the changes.
